On January 30, 2023, the School of Housing, Building, and Planning, Universiti Sains Malaysia, celebrated its Golden Jubilee Anniversary, which had been running for the previous 50 years. Associate Professor Ts. Dr. Mohd Rodzi bin Ismail, who is also the Dean of HBP, presided over this occasion.
Each and every member of the HBP staff as well as the twelve students who won the logo contest were present at the celebration. The competition winners were announced at the award event and celebrated with much fanfare.
Logo for the School of Housing, Building, and Planning, Logo for the 50th Anniversary (Golden Jubilee) of the School of Housing, Building, and Planning, and Montage for the 50th Anniversary (Golden Jubilee) of the School of Housing, Building, and Planning are the categories up for grabs.
Below is the list of prize recipients:
- The Best Logo for the School of Housing, Building, and Planning: Nor Azirah Binti Kamsul
- The Best Logo for the 50th Anniversary (Golden Jubilee): Noor Amalina Binti Abdul Ghani
- Montage for the 50th Anniversary (Golden Jubilee): Nur Khairina Binti Khairul Nizam
In conjunction with this jubilee commemoration, more activities are going to be organised between now and 2023.
